This is more than just a shop for custom bags or fabrics. This is a place built on healing, creativity, and purpose. A place where every stitch carries meaning — and we want to share how it all began.

It Started with Healing

A few years ago, my wife was going through a tough chapter. Life had piled on more than its share of stress, and we were looking for something — anything — to help her find peace again.

She picked up sewing.

At first, it was just something to focus on. A new skill. But quickly, it became something much more: a form of therapy, a way to feel proud again, a calm space she could control when everything else felt chaotic.

Then Came the Fabric

As she dove deeper into sewing, she fell in love with bold, unique fabrics. She wanted her projects to feel like her — fun, colorful, and full of personality. But the fabric stores couldn’t keep up with her vision.

That’s where I came in. With a background in graphic design, I started creating custom fabric prints just for her. Bright, one-of-a-kind patterns that made her eyes light up again.

She didn’t just make bags — she started making statements.

A Business Was Born

Before long, people started asking where her bags came from. They wanted one. They wanted their own. Something made just for them. That’s when we realized: we weren’t the only ones looking for creative expression and personal connection.

So we launched IV Bags & Things — built on the idea that you’re one of a kind, and your bags should be too.

Now, we make custom bags and fabric for customers all over. And most recently, we’ve started offering sewing classes, because we want to pass this joy and confidence on to others.
